Lee is a trusted advisor who provides exceptional legal counsel to individuals, families, small businesses, and charities.
Lee particularly enjoys working with clients in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Throughout his legal career, Lee has helped families protect assets and provide for future generations through thoughtful and creative estate planning. Lee has significant experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families, helping them navigate federal estate and gift tax issues, all while managing complex family dynamics.
Additionally, Lee has significant expertise in real estate, corporate law, and tax-exempt organizations. Lee is particularly proud of his work representing some of the most significant private foundations and public charities in Licking County that have had, and continue to have, a tremendously positive impact throughout Central Ohio.
Serving the community is important to Lee, and he has done so as a board member of numerous nonprofit organizations in Licking County. Currently, he serves as a board member of The Ohio State University-Newark and the Boys and Girls Club of Newark, and also serves as the Secretary of the Newark Campus Development Fund.
Lee earned his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Miami University. While in law school, Lee served as a managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal, and his student note on federal sentencing law was published in the Journal. Lee also represented the law school as a member of the National Moot Court team. Prior to law school, Lee taught history and coached baseball at Granville High School. Lee is originally from Urbana, Ohio.
Lee loves traveling and reading. He stays physically active with CrossFit, trail running, and numerous other outdoor activities. He lives in Granville and enjoys spending time with his wife, Sally, and their three children.
